I’m proud to celebrate International Community Association Managers Day. It reminds me to recognize my esteemed colleagues for their skill and to recommit to sharing important information that advances the community management industry.

I believe learning from each other is vital to our industry. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking on community association management to great audiences in Milan; Alicante, Spain; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Gaining expertise and knowledge empowers boards, managers, and communities. It enhances communication and drives impactful change. It also presents valuable networking possibilities.

For example, during the Congreso Nacional de Administradores de Fincas in Alicante, I was able to meet, share, and learn from community association managers from across Europe. We exchanged notes about the challenges we face and the innovative solutions we apply to overcome them. Not surprisingly, the challenges are almost always the same no matter in which market we operate.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this event was the opportunity to make great new friends and build a robust network of professionals. Networking at such conferences is invaluable. It allows us to stay updated on the latest industry trends, learn from each other’s experiences, and collaborate on finding solutions to common challenges.

There are many benefits of participating in these events. They foster professional growth, enhance visibility in the sector, and create a community of like-minded professionals dedicated to advancing the field of community association management

By focusing on and sharing continuous education, prioritizing the customer, and leveraging technology, we can improve efficiency and strengthen the community association model. Let us keep learning, evolving, and making a difference together.
